Things are really awful right now. Republicans are spending lots of energy and time to make life painful for all of us. As if you needed reminding, Democrats are raising money off conservative awfulness thru November. Sometimes everything is wrong.
I got a big boost of love from a gender outlaw. Not a man, not a woman, Kate Bornstein is fucking awesome. Baring her freak soul, she Welcomed us — Radically. If Kate can find ways to feel better about the haters in our world, I know I can keep moving forward.
Take comfort in your friends. Make art. Express your anger. Let them have it. Stop giving politics your attention. Vote when it’s time. Organize.
